Personal backups in Google Drive.
OpenBao Backup is a personal tool for storing encrypted backup files in its owner's Google Drive. Public registration is not available.
Purpose
The app uses the Google Drive API to store files in its own folder and verify uploaded copies. Automatic backups are planned by the owner.
Limited access
Access is authorized through Google OAuth using the drive.file permission. This permission allows access to files created by the app or explicitly selected by the user. This app's workflow uses its own folder and backup files; it does not request access to the entire Drive.
The account email address is used to verify the connected owner. Folder and file metadata are used to store and verify backups.
