Access and use

The app uses the Google account email address to verify the owner, the necessary metadata of its own folder and files to store and verify backups, and the encrypted contents of backup files. OAuth credentials enable authorized requests to the Google Drive API.

The drive.file permission covers files created by the app or explicitly selected by the user. This app's workflow uses its own folder and files; access to the entire Drive is not requested.

Storage and sharing

Backups are stored in the owner's personal Google Drive. Access credentials are stored securely with restricted access. Data is used only for backups and their verification. The app does not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it for unrelated purposes.

Google processes the data needed to operate its API and store files under its own Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

The owner determines how long backups are kept. Automatic deletion after a fixed period is not provided. The owner can delete the app's files and folder in Google Drive. Questions about deleting app data can be sent to the contact address above.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked in the Google account connections settings. This stops future access by the app. Existing backups remain until the owner deletes them; revoking permission does not delete those copies.
